I am interested in the limitations of cognitive
recall and how one’s grasp of these impressions
defines life. My recent work deals with memory
and its loss through deterioration, excavation,
and reconstruction. I explore spatial avenues of
process-based memories and familial experience
using materials native to the domestic sphere
and comforts of childhood. These works use elaborate
pattern and basic line to represent memory
in its stages of erasure and recovery.
