A Brooklyn, New York based sculptor who was born in Philadelphia, John Clement studied at the School of Visual Arts and then began working professionally under the tutelage of internationally recognized sculptors such as Mark di Suvero and John Henry. The clearly defined positive and negative space of his work, combined with its large scale, creates a new framework in which surroundings can be experience through his brightly colored sculptures. Clement’s work has been exhibited in public art installations, as well as in solo and group exhibitions, across the country.
