Carole Feuerman, the “reigning doyenne of super-realism”, is recognized as a pioneering figure in the world of hyperrealist art. With a career that began in the late 1960’s continuing into the present, she explores the three-dimensional world of figurative sculpture, implementing a unique vocabulary and the use of contemporary mediums. Her interest in realism is indicative of her desire to sculpt the human body, forging historical links with the past while revealing her compelling vision for the future. Included in numerous notable biennales, museum retrospectives, and public collections, she continues to push the boundaries of sculpture.
