Albert Paley has been active as an artist for over 40 years. At his studio in Rochester, New York, he employs fifteen full time people. He is the first metal sculptor to receive the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Institute of Architects, the AIA’s highest award to a non-architect. Paley holds an Endowed Chair at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York and is the recipient of three Honorary Doctorates in Fine Art. Broadly published and an international lecturer, Paley received both his BFA and MFA from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia.
