Solo exhibition in the Hudson Showroom. Sabine Senft is exploring global issues of migration and borders in a multi-faceted, interactive show juxtaposing and drawing parallels between her upbringing in divided Germany during the Iron Curtain Era and current geopolitical events. She uses materials collected on a research trip along the U.S.- Mexico border and contrasts them with shiny candy, gold leaf and aluminum prints. The panel discussion on opening night drew a lot of interest from within the community, stirring individuals and even inspiring them to contact the artist in writing to share their experiences with borders and separation. The exhibition is free and open to the public
