Westchester residents interested in sculpture can attend the Open Studio and Sculpture Learning Events as part of a worldwide celebration of sculpture happening on International Sculpture Day (IS Day) on Sunday April 24, 2016. Westchester events are being held at Bob Clyatt Sculpture Studio in Rye, building on the popularity of last year’s event there which had over 100 attendees. Visitors can try their hand at sculpting a portrait clay head from a live model, attend demonstrations on the process of sculpture casting, and chat informally with the sculptor, seeing in process or finished sculptures in the studio and grounds. Free and open to the public, drop-in, 11:00-5:00, Sunday April 24.
