Gina Lee Robbins’ biomorphic forms reference the very essence of sentient life. Weighty and spontaneous, they wriggle and twist, reaching out to each other, and drawing us in. Largely self-taught, the Chicago artist creates objects by intuitively manipulating clay and found materials. She has been exhibiting her work nationwide for over 25 years. This exhibit runs August 5-September 19, 2016. Gallery 2016 in Union South is open weekdays 7am-10pm and weekends 8am-10pm.
