Titanosaurus, a large scale public sculpture by Connecticut artist Carlos Davila, will be installed in May for a two-year stay at a public park in Suwanee Georgia as part of that city’s SculpTour. Titanosaurus is constructed of stainless steel and marine-grade teak and other hardwoods, and is over 16′ long and 12′ high.

The 2017-19 SculpTour opens May 20 with a guided tour and Sip and See of the installed sculptures and visits with exhibiting artists. SculpTour has brought a total of 79 sculptures to a walkable one-mile area of downtown Suwanee during its past four installations, as well as 14 permanent pieces owned by the City and artworks that have been purchased privately through the City’s voluntary one percent-of-construction-costs-for-developers program.
