The International Sculpture Center (ISC) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1960. Members include sculptors, collectors, architects, developers, journalists, curators, historians, critics, educators, foundries, galleries, museums--anyone with an interest in and commitment to the field of sculpture. The ISC advances the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique and vital contribution to society. The only international publication devoted exclusively to contemporary sculpture features criticism, reviews, studio visits, interviews, technical information, and Insider, which includes Opportunities-a timely listing of commissions, calls for artists, grants, residencies, and workshops. The biennial conference gathers over 1,000 sculpture enthusiasts from all over the world to network and dialogue about technical, aesthetic, and professional issues. An on-line slide registry and referral system provides detailed information about the artists and their work to buyers and exhibitors in the public, private, and corporate communities. Special Events Occasions for meeting sculptors, viewing art, and interacting with the most interesting people in the sculpture field include the annual Lifetime Achievement Award in Contemporary Sculpture dinner and tours of sculpture parks and gardens.
