Bendtsen has been showing his work in numerous group and solo shows since 1992. He has a solo exhibition this year at Redhead Gallery in Toronto, Canada, and another in 2004 at the Carleton University Gallery in Ottowa. He is the recipient of grants from the Ontario Arts Council, the Toronto Arts Council, and the Canada Council. His deliberately disorienting work confronts the viewer with unexpected conjunctions.
