We
have just begun to scratch the surface of how art can contribute to, enliven,
and inform our culture. I want art to take me to hidden places within
my subconscious, to inspire a rush of activity that drives me through
the night and gives the viewer a quiet moment of contemplation. The cyclical
nature of my work relates to different aspects of my inspiration. A processed
and highly layered form encloses and reveals a purer essence within.
