I
am interested in art that provides access for a wide audience. What is
precious to us? What is real? Where do things belong? I became aware of
these ideas as I began to work with issues of re-creating and rebuilding,
with an implied destruction of things that are precious and valuable to
us. This exploration might bring a new awareness to the value of human
life, creating opportunities for recognizing the precarious balance of
life.
