“I explore the synthesis of line, negative shape, mass, and stability. My works remain simple in form, although complexity is contained in the struggle of weight and balance. This combination evokes tension and suggests utility. Industrial appearance is related to my appreciation of machinery. Though my work is not solely based on machinery, I derive my ideas from forms within it.”
