Through diverse materials and altered scale my work questions desire and reason, reflection and awareness, experience and perception. My sculpture-making process begins with writing poetry, which then unfolds into introspective works. By combining soft and seductive materials with sharp and brittle ones, I create anxiety and highlight conflict. My work is a collaboration between feeling and thought, image and interpretation.
