The childhood memories that I try to preserve are devoid of worries and responsibilities. Being a kid in my neighborhood, it was always a challenge to goad people on the street into a reaction. Getting chased around was good, and if you got hit it was even better. In my work, humor isn’t overshadowed by implied violence. I use my own image to again be the antagonist, to provoke engagement.
