My latest body
of work focuses on pieces that contain ephemeral characteristics.
Alcohol, smoke, ice, and water act as catalysts, held in trough forms,
which are architecturally structured into rings and brooches. When
ignited, or allowed to melt, the pieces cycle through certain stages.
By using toys, fireworks, or fire itself, I encourage a sense of excitement,
like that of a child while playing or intrigued by a particular moment.
