Individuals process their lives through a series of filters. Some filters are internal, perhaps inborn. Others are encountered externally, social constructs or institutions. All involve experience. In my work, glass evolves via the catalyst of heat, transforming through literal filters and revealing fluidity, strength, adherence, fragility, beauty, and impermanence. Only through this dynamic process does each form find its way.
