My work centers around injustice, violence, and war. I am interested in a more militant political perspective that forces the audience to participate. I want viewers to consider power and control and their relationship to individual dignity and freedom. My recent work questions the American government’s anti-terrorist policies. Normally clothes protect our bodies from the scrutiny of others, but in my work, transparent vinyl jackets decorated with fingerprints become symbols of exposure.
