My installations
create enigmatic and ephemeral experiences, using the grid as a means
of organization. I make no effort to overcome my materials; they remain
as they are—lines of string, dustings of salt, or lead weights.
But through repetition, the “fabric” becomes more than the
sum of its parts. I am not interested in giving a specific narrative;
rather, my installations seem very familiar, suggesting metaphorical
descriptions without explanations.
