I’ve thrown out what is truly natural and replaced it with an imposed imitation. In my work, I try to represent landscape and human constructions artificially, using plastics, flocking, and a neon TV-like glow. My constructions reflect a laboratory sobriety, along with the cleanliness of pure artifice. The constructed landscapes represent a penchant for “landscaping the landscape,” which can be observed all over the world.
