This curriculum project was made possible by the generous support of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and each of the partner organizations, International Sculpture Center, Grounds For Sculpture, and Nottingham High School, Hamilton Township Schools in Hamilton, New Jersey.

The Sculpture Curriculum Project for Grades 10-12 represents the partnership of three non-profit educational organizations based in Hamilton, New Jersey.

  • International Sculpture Center (ISC) 14 Fairgrounds Road, Suite B., Hamilton, New Jersey 08619 - an international arts service organization.
    • Director of Education, Carol Sterling, served as project director and advisor for all aspects of the project, including written materials and project management.
    • ISC Intern, Aylin Green, served as project assistant and advisor for written materials.

  • Grounds For Sculpture (GFS) 18 Fairgrounds Road, Hamilton, New Jersey 08619 - a museum and outdoor sculpture park.
    • Curator of Education, Christine Finkelstein, served as coordinator of all activities based at or involving artists affiliated with Grounds For Sculpture and worked in cooperation with the project team in the development of the sculpture curriculum. She served as an advisor for all written materials and authored the essay on contemporary sculpture.

  • Nottingham High School (NHS) and Hamilton Township Schools 1055 Klockner Rd., Hamilton, New Jersey 08619 - a public high school with a student body of 1254 representing an urban/suburban community.
    • Chairperson of the Art Department and Art Teacher, Jan Wilson, served as coordinator of all activities based at the school, including the involvement of administrative and teaching staff. She worked in cooperation with the project team in the development of the sculpture curriculum and organization of field trips. She served as an advisor for all aspects of the written curriculum and authored the units of study.
