All work is by UCDavis students in the course, "Structures in the Landscape" (Design 125). The instructor who introduced the course into the curriculum in 1986 is Barbara Shawcroft, professor in Design.

Every Spring Quarter at UC Davis, I teach a class that I introduced into the curriculum called "Structures in the Landscape." We work outside in the UC Davis Arboretum. This can be described as an emerging sculpture garden. My intent is to create an ongoing year- round sculpture garden in the arboretum.
