The di Rosa Preserve: Art & Nature houses nearly 2,300 works of art in all media by more than 900 artists from Northern California, possibly the largest collection of its kind. Assembled by visionary collector Rene di Rosa since the mid-1960s, the collection includes significant artworks by many of the Bay Area’s most notable artists including Robert Arneson, David Best, Joan Brown, Stephen de Staebler, Mark Di Suvero, Viola Frey, Mildred Howard, Robert Hudson, Paul Kos, Manuel Neri, and William T. Wiley.

The di Rosa collection is housed in two contemporary art galleries, the Gatehouse Gallery and Main Gallery, the historic di Rosa residence, the Sculpture Meadow, and throughout the 217 acre Preserve property of vineyards and rolling hills.

Open to the public, visitors may drop into the Gatehouse Gallery to view a sampling of the permanent collection as well as rotating exhibitions. For a more comprehensive visit to the collection in the Main Gallery, residence, and grounds, the Preserve offers a regular public tour schedule. Please call or visit the website for tour details.

The di Rosa Preserve is a nonprofit institution supported by visitors, members, and donations from foundations, businesses, and individuals.
