The Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum houses a comprehensive collection
of artwork by world-renowned sculptor, Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988). On view
in the museum's thirteen galleries and outdoor sculpture garden are works
of stone, wood, and clay, as well as his Akari light sculptures, dance
set, and documentation of his gardens and playgrounds.
Open April through October, Wed-Fri 10:00am-5:00pm, Sat
and Sun 11:00am-6:00pm.

Disability access: Partially accessible, 2/3 of the collection.

Directions: By subway - N to Broadway (Queens), then 15-minute
walk weet to Vernon Blvd; Shuttle-bus service Sat.& Sun from 70th st.
and Park ave. (Manhattan), call for schedule. Free parking available on

The museum offers a variety of services for the public including
free gallery tours at 2:00 pm daily (not for groups), film programs, and
tours by appointment for school and university classes, senior citizen,
and other adult groups. Student tours are adapted to reinforce various
curriculum areas and may include drawing and writing activities. NYC public
school groups are free. Japanese tours and tours for special Ed. Groups
offered by request. Off-site, the museum provides professional development
and artists-in-residence workshops to various schools throughout New York
City.
Maximum group size is 30 people. One adult for ten children.
