The Sculpture Garden is an outdoor setting, accessible only through the Polk Museum of Art, for many of the large-scale sculptures in the museum's collection. The museum is a private, non-profit organization. As part of the Polk Museum of Art's current building, which opened in 1988, the Garden has approximate dimensions of 85' x 26'. It features a large "water wall,' in which sits two sculptures by W. Stanley Proctor.

Free Admission.

Hours: Tuesday - Friday, 9-5 Monday, Saturday, 10-5 Sunday, 1-5.

For directions call museum Monday through Friday,8-5. Free parking on site.

Facilities include restrooms and gift shop.

Guided group tours are possible.Call Curator of Education for details.

All fifth grade students in Polk County tour the museum and its Sculpture Garden. Other community organizations tour the museum on an irregular basis.

The museum has approximately 1500 objects in its collection. Those listed above constitute all works in the collection that have been displayed in the sculpture garden during the last two years.
