Sculpture
by the Sea
Sculpture
by the Sea is Australia's largest free to the public contemporary
sculpture exhibition showcasing over 100 sculptures from across Australia
and overseas. Sculpture by the Sea is staged annually for three
weeks as Sydney hots up for summer and attracts up to 300,000 people who
flock to the coastal walk to view the spectacular array of works which
transform Sydney's beautiful Bondi to Tamarama 2km coastal walk.
From
humble, but inspirational beginnings, Sculpture by the Sea has
grown to become the largest temporary sculpture exhibition in the world.
Since its inception some 650 sculptures of all shapes and sizes have been
exhibited at Sculpture by the Sea and an estimated 1 million visitors
have viewed the exhibition.
