Victoria's Way is a privately sponsored Sculpture & Philosophy Park. When finished, it will consist of 14 individual sculptures, 10 of black granite, 4 of bronze and a gate (with two further sculptures) of black granite.

All the sculptures together function as a single work of art, i.e. as a philosophical installation. The sculptures represent stages of the human's journey from self-discovery to self-realization to self-denial, which when blocked are experienced as ordeals. Each sculpture functions as an icon that can be clicked open to reveal - indeed mirror - a (blocked) stage of the observer's journey to self-completion. In short, this art-work describes the stages and/or ordeals of the creative process itself. The collection was generated for exhibition only, hence not for sale.

The sculptures were designed in Ireland, by Victor Langheld. They were made in Mahabalipuram, India by the sculptor T. Baskaran and the stucco artist, D.V. Murugan. The Park covers an area of 22 acres of County Wicklow, the Garden of Ireland.

Admission: Euro 2.50.
