Welcome
to ISC's Expanded Sculpture Parks and Gardens Directory!
See review
of the Sculpture
Parks and Gardens Conference held back in October '99 in an ISC
Web Special.
The International
Sculpture Center (ISC) is committed to being THE world destination and source
of information on contemporary sculpture. As we strive to realize this goal,
we invite you to visit our website often as we continue to update information.
One of our major projects is the expansion of ISC's Sculpture Parks and
Gardens Directory in the United States and abroad. We are dedicated to
sharing with you the ever expanding and diverse world of parks and gardens
addressed in Brooke Barrie's article in "Sculpture
Moves Outdoors" in the September
(1999) Sculpture Magazine.
The expansion
of the Sculpture Parks and Gardens Directory is designed to strengthen networking
among colleagues who are committed to designing and developing high quality
parks and gardens of all sizes. We invite you to join us as we continue to
spotlight these treasures of outdoor art in the months and years ahead as
we add to the Directory. Visit the site often and you will see an ever-expanding
variety of parks and gardens. And please share with us parks and gardens that
you think should be added to the Directory. ENJOY!
Thanks
to Our Supporters.
The
expanded Sculpture Parks and Gardens Directory is made possible by
the contributions of arts professionals who are committed to sharing emerging
developments and established work in the interest of collegiality and increased
cultural tourism. ISC extends special thanks to the following institutions
and individuals:
Grounds
For Sculpture and Brooke Barrie, Director/Curator, Hamilton, New Jersey
Johnson Atelier and James Barton, President and Dona Warner, Director, Mercerville,
New Jersey
ISC recognizes
the contributions of our cooperating partner, Grounds
For Sculpture and our neighbor, Johnson Atelier, for their help in
presenting the "Sculpture
Parks and Gardens Conference," held in October, 1999 in New Jersey.
The conference became the catalyst for the expansion of the Sculpture Parks
and Gardens Directory for the Website.
Special
thanks to the following individuals and organizations for their contributions
for the research and development for the Sculpture Parks and Gardens Directory:
