I create collections of objects, similar to those found in natural history museums, but the objects have all been fashioned from familiar contemporary materials.  In Reading Our Remains, a collection of over 130 unique pieces, books have been petrified in wax and carved, sliced, or twisted into fossils: now one can only study the forms of these specimens, rather than their text.
