By presenting familiar images and structures in unpredictable contexts and configurations, I tease out the metaphysical potential of objects, materials, and environments. My work prioritizes viewer experience and imagination by offering highly suggestive, yet open-ended visual information and encourages the free development of new narratives. Much like the worlds that can be found in clouds or starry skies, my work operates as a mediator of reflections and musings. The idea that the material object can point beyond itself is central to my artistic practice.
