I create objects and machines that use technological interactivity and craft to alter physical experience, creating new acoustical understandings and questioning the mythology of utopian experience. My process starts from an event, coincidence, or awareness. I am interested in how utopian visions lead to contradictory impulses of liberation through escape, and the consequential restraint of that pursuit.
