My sculptures are about process, form, and materials, and the tensions between them. I collect everyday materials, primarily trash and recyclables—anything that I can gather in abundance and manipulate into fun shapes. I am most interested in spheres and circles, with their connection to toys, because I see my artistic practice as play. Each sculpture is a celebration, and that is all they need to be.
