Artist Statement

I am building a system of symbols and gestures that define a language of low buzz. I am interested in abstraction as a strategy for comprehension. These are landscapes. The objects are both locations on their own and components of larger places. They document a non-physical space in a physical language through forms derived from nature and architecture.
