Artist Statement

Working between sculpture and performance, I push the body’s physical capabilities. I spent a good amount of time working as a laborer, breaking down my physical self to get by. This lifestyle has given me a strong work ethic in my methodology as an artist—I don’t take short cuts. A job well done is my goal, and I perform ridiculously strenuous tasks in order to provide others with a means of support and comfort.
