Artist Statement

I am interested in the structuring effect that our built environment has on us. It enables and constrains us, creating possibilities while limiting our scope of action and directing our behavior. We shape the world, and it shapes us. My work reveals the underlying structure of architecture as a metaphor for this structuring dynamic.
