Husht Reverberations, 20'x9'x 7', Fabric 2005.

My work celebrates phenomenal discoveries embedded in everyday life. I develop ideas based on the experiences of a community or of an individual and collect materials that contain memories of these histories. I try to make work with used materials. Collecting materials allows me to meet diverse people, helps others purge objects that no longer have any use, and permits me to make art without contributing to the excessive production of new materials. With this rhythmic process, I make forms that express both the individual and collective experience.
