As human beings, we continually deny ephemerality.
Yet our transitory nature is an absurd beauty
that we should view as a valuable aspect of
life. I present the essence of temporal beauty in
my work. Indirect and deviously flexible forms
show that process and change are constant. I
want the work to find the space between
things—the waif-like membrane that divides soft
and hard qualities, which we all possess. When
this space of vulnerability is exposed, we grow.
My work asks for patience for a full experience.
