Discarded objects with little or no social value
determine the shape of my sculptures. Material
is applied to these objects, and gravity does the
sculpting for me. I’m interested in how a combination
of familiar things can create the circumstances
out of which something peculiar can
grow. It’s like an icicle forming on an overhang.
