2015 is a very exciting year for the ISC, and the spring is an incredibly busy time as we launch new programs, events, and benefits for members. This month brings the premiere of the International Sculpture Calendar, accessible on our Web site. This new feature highlights sculpture events around the world, and as a member, you can add your own events, too. Visit www.sculpture.org/calendar.
The new digital version of Sculpture is also debuting this month, along with an app for your phone or tablet—a great way to take your favorite magazine everywhere. Share articles with friends, post to your social media pages, or just enjoy some quiet reading. New digital membership and subscription options are also now available through the ISC.
April will see the inaugural International Sculpture Day, IS Day, and we already have a roster of events spanning the globe. Where will you be on April 24? Don’t forget to check out our calendar and our IS Day Facebook page, like us, and post your own event there, too. facebook.com/InternationalSculptureDay. See page 66, for more details.
The 24th Lifetime Achievement Award gala will be also be held next month, on April 15. This year, the ISC Board of Trustees will be recognizing and honoring Joel Shapiro at an event in New York City. More details are available on page 9 of this issue and at sculpture.
org/Shapiro. Please join us as we celebrate Joel’s work and his lifetime commitment to the field of sculpture. I hope to see you there.
