Northwest
Stone Sculptors Association, a non-profit membership organization
serving as a resource for the carving and presentation of stone sculpture.
We develop educational opportunities, provide a support system and facilitate
interaction with regional, national, and international communities. Our
membership is made up of approximately 200 members living predominantly
in the Northwest US and Canada. NWSSA offers its members a bi-monthly, 16
page publication, regular membership meetings, workshops, and 4 regional
symposia each year. Other activities include quarry trips and promotional
exhibits. |

CARSO
(Computer Aided Restoration of Stone Objects) is used to give the Stonemason
an easy access to modern tooling machinery, which improves productivity,
quality and the working environment. The system provides a powerful and
easy-to-use CAD/CAM system for efficient and fast copy milling of large
and complex objects. |
