Listing an opportunity is free and available to anyone wishing to share information on upcoming opportunities. The ISC reserves the right not to publish any opportunity.

LOGGING IN

Can I change my user email and/or password?

Yes. After logging into your account please click on 'Click here to edit username or password' in the upper right-hand corner. From there you can change both and hit 'Submit information'. Your changes will be in effect immediately so please use your new username and/or password next time you login.

How do I get into the "members only area"?

You must be a dues-paying member with an active membership to access the ISC member area. Non-members or previous members whose membership has expired are denied access to the members-only areas on ISC website. If you are a current ISC member with a portfolio account already setup, please login using the same username and password. If you are a member and do not have a portfolio account, you must create a new account here with a unique username and password.

Where can I access the "members only area"?

You can access the “members only” section of the website by clicking on the Login & Opportunities button on the top left of our homepage. You will be prompted to enter your username and password.

How do I create a new member account?

On the login screen, click "Create New Member Account" or click here to enter your member number, e-mail address, zip code and create your password. If your membership is current you will be logged in. If not you will see an error. Please note, if you have just purchased a membership it can take up to 4 weeks to update our system with your account. During this time, you will not be able to login. You can call the membership department at 609.689.1051 ext. 301 to get the status of your account.


SUBMITTING OPPORTUNITIES

Using the opportunity submission form


Have all your opportunity information available when you start your entry. If you are inactive on the page for an extended period of time, you will be logged out and lose the information that you entered.

Information you will need includes:

  • Opportunity type
  • Title of the Opportunity
  • Location information
  • A description of the opportunity that includes requirements and any other necessary information for an applicant
  • Webpage specifice to the opportunity if there is one
  • Contact information for the opportunity
Please check your spelling and be sure to include all necessary infromation. Applicants will be more likely to participate if the description is complete.

Required information includes:
  • Type
  • Title
  • Organization
  • Description
  • Deadline
  • Contact name and email

Managing your opportunity submissions

When logged in and on the submission form, you will be able to manage opportunities that you have already submitted. They appear in a list above the submission form with options to view (approved listings only), edit and delete. You can also see an opportunities status. A listing is either approved, pending or expired (if the deadline date has passed). To edit an existing listing, click edit next to that listing and make your changes, then click on submit. Your changes will be live immediately.

How long does it take for an opportunity to be approved?

We will approve your opportunity within two weeks. You will be notified by email once the opportunity has been approved.

Do you have to be a member to post an opportunity?

No. Anyone with a guest account on sculpture.org (email and password) can submit and manage opportunities. You can create an account here if you are not a member. Only members can view opportunities. Members can also submit opportunities with their member login.

Do you have to be a non-profit to post an opportunity?

No. All types of legitimate organizations offering opportunities for sculptors can post. The ISC reserves the right to reject a listing for any reason. Our staff checks each listing for it's value to our members.




VIEWING OPPORTUNITIES

Do you have to be a member to view an opportunity?


Yes. Only paying members of the ISC can view opportunities. To check out member benefits and to become a member click here.

How do I make a wishlist?

After searching, click on an opportunity listed in your results and click on the green box in the upper right of the listing.



Then you will be given a pop up which indicates that the opportunity has been added to your wishlist. Click OK. Now you will be able to access this opportunity at any time by clicking on 'Visit your wishlist'.



How do I delete an opportunity from my wishlist?

Visit your wishlist by clicking on the blue square in the upper right-hand corner of an individual listing or by clicking on any of the other links to your wishlist throughout the opportunity section. To the right of each opportunity on your wishlist there is a link to remove the listing from your wishlist.



How do I print or email my wishlist?

On your wishlist page, in the upper right-hand corner, click on the print or email icons. To email your wishlist to yourself, simply enter your email and hit 'Email list'.

How do I search for a specific opportunity?

From your member homepage click on the button for opportunities in the center. Then click on 'Search Opportunities'. You may filter your results in several ways. None of the fields are required on this form, so if you leave everything empty and press search you will get all of the opportunities in our database.

To filter:
  • Choose the type of opportunity you would like (Ctrl/Command click to select several).

  • If you would like to use the keyword field, enter in a word (such as 'bronze') that you would like to be included in the resulting listings. The results will be sorted by relevance, the most relevant on the top.

  • You may also choose a style and/or medium.

  • For listings local to you, select a country, city, and state.

  • You can include 'Multiple locations', 'Online', and 'World wide' listings. These will be by default excluded, so you need to indicate you would like them included by checking off the boxes next to each.

  • Finally, choose whether you would like to include only opportunities without fees or all opportunities which may include ones with fees.
If you receive a message that there are no search results for your criteria, please broaden your search by unspecifying some of the filters, for example if you have a style and a city, take out one or the other.

How do I view an opportunity from the list?

Once you have submitted your filters into the search form and hit submit, you will get a list of matching opportunities. The left most column indicates the type of opportunity listed, then the deadline, location and title. If you would like to sort by any of these columns, click on the arrow to the right of each column header. They will either list alphabetically (for type, location and title) or by date (deadline).



To view an individual listing, click on the title. When viewing this listing, you can scroll through your results by clicking on the left or right arrows on the top of the individual listing page.
