Andy Zimmermann is a sculptor who works primarily in welded steel and bronze. He also makes artworks in stone, wood, plaster, paint, and digital media. His work has been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries in the Boston area and in New York. His large-scale welded metal pieces have been installed in various sculpture parks and curated sculpture exhibits around the country.

EDUCATION

Received B.A. from Harvard College, Cambridge, MA in 1976. Majored in Psychology. Studied painting with Paul Rotterdam and Albert Alcalay, design with William Reimann, and art theory with Rudolph Arnheim.
