BA Victoria University of Wellington, NZ. Chelsea School of Art, London
I graduated from Victoria University in New Zealand with a degree in sociology and psychology, later studying art in London. People and their environment play a large part in my art practice, from my sculptures to my public art installations. I seek to humanise public spaces with my sculptures, creating an organic aspect to the built environment. My social art installations (such as The Blue Trees) apply an artist’s voice to global issues such as deforestation, homelessness, social isolation and cultural appropriation.
