I studied Southeast Asian archaelology at Vassar College and on the graduate level at the School of Oriental and African Studies, the University of London, England. My studio training was in New York at the Art Student League and the New York Studio School. During this time I worked under grants documenting dance.
Athough I have exhibited in video, my focus now is sculpture and works on paper. I am fortunate to have representation in Philadelphia and the greater Philadelphia area. I have been awarded 17 site-specific commissions; 22 grants and have had seven solo regional exhibitions.
I am a member of the National Association of Women Artists; the Sculptors Guild; and, the Pennsylvania State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC.
