Artist's Statement:  Material & form are the two basic elements that my mind's eye uses as I build a work. Often just finding one piece of material guides my instinct as as to how construction of the work will procede. I continually collect wood, stone, metal & plant materials such as bamboo from which to draw my inspiration. My work tends to be spare, perhaps Zen-like and certainly Asian influenced. The materials I use have strong energy & beauty which I hope to present to the viewer. I appreciate your patience in viewing my efforts.
