Education

Sign Arts Program, 1965-1967 - Pasadena City College, California

Fine Arts Studies, 1968-1969 - Pasadena City College

Autodidact University, 1975 - current

Experience

1969 through 1971 - Owner, Art Craft Studio, Pasadena, California    Sign maker, silk screen printer. Initial foray into sign graphics fields.

1971 through 1980 - Owner, Jack Biesek Studio, San Luis Obispo Graphic design consultancy / sign maker, gold leaf artist, silk screen printer, photographer, exhibit designer, architectural signage consultant.

1980 to present - Biesek Design partnership with wife (designer) Susan Mackenzie Biesek. Focus on wayfinding, placemaking and architectural signage. Including institutional, educational, healthcare, hospitality, transportation and corporate clients.

1990 to present -  Sculptor working in bronze, stone, metal and other venerable materials. Returning to fine art roots and heartwork.
