Beatty Harvey Coco Architects, Construction Architect                         May 2005 – Present

Detailed and managed the construction and bid process for several mixed use buildings.

×        Buildings range in size from 250,000 square feet to over 1,000,000 square feet.

×        Recently designed the construction documents, managed the construction and coordinated the opening of the $200MM Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore.

×        During the three year build of the Legg Mason and Four Seasons development, constant field analysis of construction details helped to reduce delays and ultimately finished with a quality, cost efficient product.

Regularly tasked to design and detail high-rise elevators, stairs, canopies and railings.

×        Recently designed the grand stairs, glass railings and glass canopy systems for the Four Seasons Hotel and Legg Mason Headquarters.

×        Designed and managed the fabrication and installation of the Landmark Theater marque and canopy.

Managed the coordination efforts for the architect of record along with trade consultants located around the work.

×        Projects included consultant teams with over 20 trades.

×        Researched code requirements for local jurisdictions.

×        Reviewed shop drawings and product submittals during construction phase. 

               Produced schematic layouts and options for preliminary land developments.

×        Constructed massing and detail models, for client and team interaction.

×        Developed a strong working knowledge for selected finishes and materials with proper specifications according to budget and timeframe.


Architecture Design Works, Intern Architect                                         May 2003 – May 2005

Developed proposals and designs for mid-sized commercial, institutional, and medical projects.

Developed design and construction documents on several private residences.

×        Several projects included +$1MM custom built residences in the neighborhood of Glen Angus in Bel Air, MD.

Assisted with the design and construction documents of several multi-family developments.

Assisted with writing proposals for small commercial and residential projects.

Began summer internship following high school graduation.

×        Permanent job offer from Director at culmination of summer internship.

Trained in architectural hand drafting as well as computer aided drafting.

Designed and built presentation models, both digital and hand built, for proposed buildings in the planning stage of the Harbor East development.
