Marko Kratohvil has lived and worked in United Kingdom since 1991. Born in Belgrade, former Yugoslavia in 1958, he graduated with an MA in Sculpture from the University of Arts. He has exhibited extensively throughout Europe and his work is held in both corporate and private collections world wide. Member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. Recently relocated to Oklahoma City.

His sculpture aspires to articulate those fields of our experience that remain after or before verbalization. They invite the viewer to enter into a relationship with them which may involve scrutiny, while also bringing the awareness of a physical space.

Kratohvil chooses neither to follow a trend, nor base his work on academicism. His sculpture is what is left after the clash between the traditional and the contemporary. The work is purified without any narrative and distinctly expressive.
