At the heart of my artwork beats the rhythm and beauty of the dynamic systems found in nature and the sciences.  Basic geometries balance form with ideas.  The elements in my installations fuse to create quirky & beautiful poems in space. I am adept at budgeting, scheduling, fabricating, negotiating & collaborating on projects, and have a degree in communications as well as fine art.  I construct my own steel sculptures, and fully understand fabrication methods and installing & exhibiting public works.

Large scale works are my forte. My repetoire of media include steel & stainless, bronze, wood, glass, and landscaping outdoor public spaces. Tile & glass mosaics and painted murals can be executed directly on-site, or off-site on panels and later installed.

I have also been very active in creating collaborative murals and mosaics for public spaces with diverse groups of apprentice artists recruited from the surrounding area.  These projects require delving deep into all aspects of the community that can inform & inspire the artwork.
