EchoSphere is a stainless steel kinetic sculpture, 20 feet tall, that covers a large grassy area of 950 square feet. Stainless steel domes allow visitors to spin or ride elements of the sculpture.
It is located on a site that borders the SMSU campus, a neighborhood community, and a busy street intersection. What was once an unused area is now a popular spot for outdoor classes, lounging, playing and eating lunch. It is also a lasting, unique landmark for the university.
